Trader Long Short Ratio

A trader long short ratio compares the number or proportion of traders classified as net long with those classified as net short within a particular dataset.

Why it matters to you

This can help show how participating accounts are positioned. However, it does not tell you the size of each trader's position. For example, many small traders could be long while a smaller number of much larger traders are short.
