Tokenized Treasuries

Tokenized Treasuries are blockchain based investment products that provide exposure to government Treasury securities, most commonly short term U.S. Treasury bills or funds that hold them. The token represents an interest or claim defined by the product's legal structure rather than turning the government security itself into a cryptocurrency.

Why it matters to you

Tokenized Treasuries bring one of traditional finance's largest asset classes into blockchain based markets. They can give eligible investors blockchain based access to Treasury exposure and allow these investments to interact with digital financial infrastructure. Investors should still understand exactly what the token represents, who holds the underlying securities, how income is distributed and how redemption works.
