Tokenized Commodities

Tokenized commodities are blockchain based tokens designed to represent ownership of, or economic exposure to, commodities such as gold, silver or other physical resources. The structure of the product determines whether the token represents a direct claim on stored commodities or another form of financial exposure.

Why it matters to you

Tokenization can make commodity exposure easier to transfer and integrate with digital markets. But investors should understand what backs the token, where the commodity is held, who provides custody, how holdings are verified and whether physical or cash redemption is available.
