Probability Invalidation
Probability invalidation occurs when new information materially undermines the assumptions supporting a trader's previous probability estimate.
Why it matters to you
Suppose your estimate was: 70% because of three important assumptions. New information invalidates one of them. The correct response is not: "I'm already in the trade, so I'll keep believing 70%." The probability should be reassessed.
