Price Rejection
Price rejection describes market behavior where price trades into or through an area but fails to remain there and moves away relatively quickly.
Why it matters to you
Rejection around an important level can show that the market was unwilling, at least temporarily, to continue trading at those prices. Combined with volume, order flow and market structure, this can provide useful information about how participants responded to the level.
