Concentrated Event Risk
Concentrated event risk occurs when a large portion of a trader's portfolio depends directly or indirectly on the same event, assumption or catalyst.
Why it matters to you
A portfolio may contain ten contracts but still be poorly diversified if most depend on one underlying scenario. Number of positions is not the same thing as diversification.
