Account Risk
Account risk describes how much of a trader's account is exposed to potential loss from one trade, several trades or the portfolio as a whole.
Why it matters to you
Looking at each position individually can hide the amount of risk being taken across the entire account. Five trades each risking 1% could potentially expose considerably more capital than one 1% risk trade, particularly when the positions are correlated.
