Gamma Flip

A Gamma flip is an estimated underlying price level where a model of aggregate or dealer Gamma exposure changes sign.

Why it matters to you

Some traders use the Gamma flip as a reference for identifying potential changes in expected hedging behavior. However, the level depends on: the model, positioning assumptions, option data, and changing market conditions. It is not guaranteed support or resistance.
